Terms of Service

These terms govern access to NamasteChat. By creating or using an account, you agree to follow these terms and the Privacy Policy.

1. Account eligibility and responsibility

You must provide a phone number you are authorised to use, keep access to OTPs and devices secure, and comply with consent requirements that apply to you. You are responsible for activity performed through your authenticated devices.

2. Acceptable use

You may not use NamasteChat to break the law, threaten or exploit others, distribute malware, impersonate another person, send abusive spam, attack the service, probe accounts without permission, or interfere with communications and infrastructure.

3. Your content

You retain responsibility for content you send. You confirm that you have the rights and permissions needed to share it. Encryption does not make unlawful content acceptable or remove your responsibilities to recipients.

4. Service availability

Messaging and calling depend on browsers, devices, Firebase, internet access, carrier networks and relay infrastructure. We work to keep NamasteChat reliable, but uninterrupted delivery, call connectivity or recovery of device-bound encrypted history is not guaranteed.

5. Security features

You must not misrepresent encryption indicators or attempt to bypass access controls. Some features shown as unavailable are intentionally disabled until their security implementation is complete.

6. Suspension and termination

We may restrict or suspend access where reasonably necessary to protect users, investigate abuse, comply with law or secure the service. You may delete your account using the in-app account-deletion control.

7. Disclaimers and liability

To the extent permitted by law, the service is provided on an “as available” basis. We are not liable for losses caused solely by carrier failures, unsupported browsers, compromised user devices, lost local encryption keys or unlawful use by another person. Nothing here limits rights or liability that cannot legally be limited.

8. Changes and contact

We may update these terms as the service or law changes. Continued use after an update means you accept the revised terms where legally permitted. Questions may be sent to support@namastechat.in.
