Delete your account

NamasteChat provides self-service permanent account deletion from an authenticated session.
How to delete
- Sign in to NamasteChat with your verified phone number.
- Open Settings.
- Select Account, then Delete my account.
- Review the warning and confirm deletion.
This action is permanent. Your Firebase account is deleted and the browser clears its local NamasteChat identity keys and cached state after server confirmation.
What is removed
- Your authentication account and phone-number profile.
- Your registered device public keys and device records.
- Status entries owned by your account.
- Call-signalling records associated with your phone number.
- Your avatar and owned status files where they are stored in account-specific paths.
What may remain
Encrypted messages and attachments already shared in conversations may remain in other participants’ copies or shared conversation storage. Records may also be retained when required by applicable law, security investigation or dispute handling.
If you cannot sign in
Email support@namastechat.in from a contact address you control. Include the phone number in international format and enough information to verify ownership. Never email an OTP, password or private encryption key.
